About

I dance, so I DJ for dancers

I’m Kevin. I’ve been social dancing since 2012, when I joined the University of Alberta Dance Club. I never stopped dancing and have diversified my dance background to most dances we do here in Edmonton. I started DJing because I love music and connect to it in an transcendental way. Musicality and connection to music are important to me, and you'll know if you've ever danced with me. Having a dance background means I know what moves dancers: the right tempo, the right energy, the right flow, the right balance of styles, and the right timing to build energy and to let people connect and breathe with their souls.

Lessons

Learn to dance with confidence

I teach International Ballroom, Salsa, and Bachata with a focus on connection, musicality, and fundamentals that work on the social dance floor. My main teaching space is the beginner-friendly class at Bachata Tuesdays. For privates and groups, I come to you or vice versa. My main focus is social dance; if you are looking to compete, you should find someone better.

Or do you just want someone to accompany you for an evening social dance? I can do that too.

Private lessons

One-on-one or couples, at your pace. Great for building fundamentals quickly or preparing for an event.
